FoxcoteSunday 24th May – The Foxcote Frolic, a fundraiser for The Countryside Alliance Foundation and WheelPower at the Foxcote Estate, Andoversford, Cheltenham GL54 4LL by kind permission of Mark and Rosie Vestey.  This family day out will feature a 15k and 5k sponsored ride, a clay pigeon shooting competition with £1,000 in prize money (kindly donated by Bowles & Wyre lanscape gardeners), have-a-go archery, trade stands and catering by local hunts. There will also be a 3km cross country run (or walk) around the estate. Gates 9am, last ride 3pm.  

Please download the entry form for the Foxcote ride here. The sponsored ride is suitable for riders of all ages and abilities, with routes of 5k and 15k and optional jumps. Timed starts will take place from 9am-3pm and entry costs £20 (£15 for under-16s) plus a minimum £15 sponsorship.

Please download the entry form for the Foxcote clay pigeon shoot here. Teams of four are invited to take part in the clay shoot, which boasts three simulated drives including a 100-bird flush and runs throughout the day. Cash prize to the winning team plus other prizes – £1,000 in total!! – including Pol Roger Champagne. Entry fee is £200 for a team of four.

Family members who fancy something a little more energetic can take part in the cross-country fun run. This 3k route follows the team chase course and features a range of optional obstacles. However the course is also open to dog walkers and those who just want to take it steady. Entry £5, (£3 for under-16s).

WheelPower will be running archery taster sessions throughout the day, taught by their wheelchair athletes and there will be refreshments and other stalls run by local hunts.
