Lush and the HSA
Friday, 1 January 2010
Many supporters have contacted us this week to let us know that High Street cosmetics company, Lush, are about to launch a new "Fabulous Mrs Fox bubble bar" in order to raise funds for the Hunt Saboteurs Association.
The company has said; "Lush is proud to be associated with the Hunt Saboteurs Association who show the tenacity and bravery to uphold a law that our own police force and government seem reluctant to enforce, despite strong and continued support for the ban from the British public." You might like to write to the company with your views on the so-called "bravery" of the animal rights lobby:

We would urge you to look out for a piece in Friday's Times on this story. Simon Hart will be looking at this issue in more depth in a future grass e-route. Readers will not have missed the irony of the Hunt Saboteurs Association being associated with a soap product, but more importantly, perhaps Lush would like to explain its views on the extensive catalogue of criminal activity and physical assault dished out by hunt saboteurs over a long period of time.
