Shop for the Countryside
Tuesday, 26 July 2011
In the current economic climate charities have to be ever-more resourceful to stay afloat, and The Countryside Alliance Foundation is no different. We are therefore delighted to introduce you to Shop for the Countryside, an ingenious way for you to help us raise money – and you won’t even notice you’re doing it.
Thousands of online shops including John Lewis, Boden, Boots and Marks & Spencer have signed up to the scheme, which enables donations to charity each time a registered customer shops online. By visiting www.shopforthecountryside.com, and signing up to “Give as you Live” you will be able to shop online normally with thousands of retailers and as you shop, a percentage of your basket will be donated back to us, at no cost to you and at no cost to us.
So with a packed Autumn ahead for The Countryside Alliance Foundation – Fishing for Schools, the “Honest, Clear, Simple” meat labelling campaign, Game-to-Eat game meat promotion and our work to get outdoor education onto the National Curriculum, this is a crucial time for you to show your support.
Please sign up to Shop for the Countryside so that next time you buy a train ticket, renew your car insurance or do your weekly shop, the work of The Countryside Alliance Foundation will benefit. Please visit www.shopforthecountryside.com today.
