COUNTRYSIDE ALLIANCE

The Spring 2012 Countryside Alliance membership magazine has been posted to members this week, and you can read it online too. This issue includes a great coup - Prime Minister David Cameron has written the "My Countryside" about his love of rural Britain - he talks food, farming, fishing, hunting and battling bureaucracy. Featuring Her Majesty the Queen on the cover we celebrate the Queen's "Rural Reign" on the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee. The magazine features much, much more but these two highlights certainly make this issue required reading for everyone who loves the countryside.

2012 Spring magazine 

This year, in common with many other membership and campaigning organisations, we are offering members the chance to vote online. Members are asked to vote to approve the Report and Accounts and to appoint Messrs Saffery Champness as Auditors. Tim Vestey has been elected unopposed to the Board and will take up his position at the AGM (to be held at The Union Jack Club, Sandell Street, London, SE1 8UJ at 2pm on Tuesday 12th June.)
