Whitfield Annual Clay Shoot 2014 - results!

Monday, 12 May 2014

The Whitfield Annual Clay Shoot took place at the beautiful Northumberland estate at the weekend and our thanks go to gamekeeper Stuart Maughan and the team for yet again organising a fun and challenging event. Despite the inclement weather (it rained for two days) the shoot attracted 69 teams of four on the Saturday and 67 teams on the Sunday. The standard of shooting was very high throughout with every element of the competition being keenly contested. Persistent rain dampened proceedings and made conditions underfoot difficult. The CA, GWCT and Whitfield staff worked very hard to ensure that competitors could in the first instance access the site and then enjoy the experience of competing in this established event.

Click here for the scores from the weekend - brown denotes keepers' teams, blue is sponsors and yellow is the winner on each stand.
Photo galleries from the weekend can be viewed here.
