Education & National Shooting Week

It has been an extremely productive week in the South East region, all of which has been centred on education in all manner of forms.
First up was a tour around the wonderful Arundel Estate in West Sussex, courtesy of the Duke of Norfolk.
Led by estate manager, Peter Knight, over 40 people clambered onto a trailer and learnt how saving the grey partridge has led to far reaching benefits all across the wildlife-board.

The South East's Rural Oscars winners of 2013

 The South East of England’s Champions in the 2013 Countryside Alliance Awards (aka the Rural Oscars) have been announced, with top local businesses now going forward to the UK final. The Awards are the Countryside Alliance’s annual celebration of rural produce, skills, enterprise and heritage through our small hard-working businesses. They are now in their ninth year and have become the definitive rural business award to win. The lucky winners will go on to represent the region at the UK finals at Parliament in Westminster on 30th April. Regional Director Michelle Nudds introduces the winners for the South East. Please note other regional Champions will be announced shortly:
