Great British Game Week, 20th-26th November, is back larger than ever before in its fourth successive year, highlighting everything that is fantastic and British about wild game.
The awareness week seeks to promote wild game to over 1 million people throughout the week and we request your help in completing this challenge. Whilst the Countryside Alliance will be promoting wild game to new, larger markets, we wish to see our members and supporters spreading the word at the local level. If each member and supporter of shooting were to introduce one friend to wild game throughout the week it would give the market a substantial boost.
The Countryside Alliance’s Game to Eat campaign is delighted to once again co-host, alongside the British Association for Shooting and Conservation, this popular week long celebration of wild game meat.
To get you started, show your support for the following two exemplary initiatives on Facebook called Game for the Table and Giving up the Game, whom are both dedicated at boosting the market and securing shooting’s future.
Great British Game Week aims to inspire and motivate you into trying some new wild game recipes yourself. We want you to get involved and are therefore running a competition in the lead up to the week where we want to see your own wild game recipe creations! All you have to do is share your creation with us by tagging @GametoEat and using the hashtag #GBGameWeek in your post on Instagram or Twitter. The winning public entry will be rewarded with a copy of the fantastic Tom Kitchin’s Meat and Game recipe book. Deadline to send your creations to us is the 29th November 2017. T&C’s apply.
