Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland, the unique fly fishing therapy programme for ladies with breast cancer, is delighted to be returning to Forbes of Kingennie, the beautiful family-run resort at Broughty Ferry near Dundee, and is now accepting registrations.

The Forbes family and their dedicated staff will join the Casting for Recovery team to deliver a wonderful weekend of Scottish hospitality for ladies with breast cancer where counselling and medical advice will form part of a packed programme which will also see ladies try their hand at fly fishing.

The retreat is free to attend and any lady who has (or has had) breast cancer is welcome to register. All participants need to do is get to us and we’ll do the rest. Our counselling, medical and fly fishing staff are hugely experienced and look forward to helping ladies move forward from their cancer.

Casting for Recovery is a charitable programme run by The Countryside Alliance Foundation with all fishing kit provided by Orvis UK. In 2017 the retreat will be underwritten by the stellar fundraising efforts of the Scottish Rural Awards, meaning Scottish businesses have funded a Scottish charitable event. We offer huge thanks to all the businesses who made this happen.

NB Places are allocated by ballot and are subject to medical clearance. Ladies on retreat will be required to share a room with a fellow participant.
