The General Election will be held on Thursday 8th June 2017. It is imperative that everyone who is eligible to vote does so. If you are not already registered to vote you can do so at by 22nd May.  This is a vital election for the countryside as for the first time since 1973 the UK Government will be setting its own agricultural and rural policy. It is imperative that you vote for the candidate that you believe has the countryside’s best interests at heart. As soon as we have the main parties’ manifestos we will examine each party’s rural pledges and bring them to you in order to help you make your choice. NB the Countryside Alliance is apolitical.
