With party conference season nearly upon us, we would like to update you on what we will be getting up to at various party conferences, as we continue to promote the countryside and rural way of life in the political world.
This party conference season we will be attending all major party conferences. We will be kicking off with the Reform UK Party Conference next week (Friday 4 September) in Birmingham, followed by the Liberal Democrat Party Conference in Brighton on Monday 21 September.
We will then be attending the Labour Conference in Liverpool on Sunday 27 September, before finishing the season with the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham on Sunday 4 and Monday 5 October.

Reform UK Party Conference
Friday 4 September, 19.00 - 20.30 (Liberty Theatre, the NEC, Birmingham)
Speakers: Richard Tice MP, James Evans MS, Tim Bonner
At this year's Reform UK Party Conference we will be holding the "Great Rural Meet"; a reception for Reform UK politicians and councillors, along with members, to highlight the importance of the countryside and its communities and discuss Reform's plans for rural areas and communities.
Liberal Democrat Party Conference
Monday 21 September, 19.45 (Charlotte Room, the Grand, Brighton)
Speakers: Alistair Carmichael MP, Sarah Dyke MP, Dr Roz Savage MP, Tim Bonner
“Can the Liberal Democrats become the party of the countryside?”: The 2024 General Election saw a major shake up of the rural political landscape, with many traditionally Conservative seats going to both the Liberal Democrats and Labour. Reform UK is polling consistently highly in rural areas. With many in the countryside displeased with the current direction of government rural policy, the countryside is up for grabs. Can the Liberal Democrats seize that opportunity, and become the party of the countryside?
Labour Party Conference

At this year's Labour Conference we will be holding a reception for Labour politicians and councillors, along with members, to highlight the importance of the countryside and rural communities, debate government policies, and discuss how the government can work better for rural people.
Conservative Party Conference
Sunday 4 October, 20.30 - 22.00 (DFS, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Birmingham)
CRF and Countryside Alliance Joint Reception: A joint reception with the Conservative Rural Forum to highlight the importance of the countryside and its communities and discuss Conservative plans for rural areas and communities.
Monday 5 October, 10.30 - 12.00 (Exchange 10, Manchester Central, Manchester)
