A fundraising appeal to plant a woodland in memory of a countryside-loving hunt secretary has been launched following her death.
Becca Bullock, who died tragically last month, aged 31, was a much-loved and hugely valued member of the hunting community, having hunted from childhood with both the Bicester Hunt with Whaddon Chase and the Kimblewick Hunt.
From a farming family and a keen horsewoman throughout her life, Becca grew up immersed in horses and the countryside. She was an active member of the Pony Club and went on to enjoy team chasing and Riding Club activities, as well as hunting. She was also a very talented runner and a popular pub landlady.
In 2019, Becca took on the role of joint secretary of the Bicester Hunt with Whaddon Chase, throwing herself into the role with characteristic enthusiasm and commitment. She particularly enjoyed encouraging and supporting children out hunting and took great pleasure in seeing the next generation enjoying the sport she had loved since childhood.
Her contribution extended well beyond the hunting field. Becca was also an active member of the Hunt Supporters Club and could always be relied upon to get involved, whether that meant baking, helping to run a bar or lending a hand wherever it was needed.
Becca will be remembered with enormous affection for her energy, generosity and enthusiasm, and for the very special contribution she made to the Bicester Hunt with Whaddon Chase and the wider hunting community.

She will be greatly missed by so many of us who knew her, both on the hunting field and beyond it. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Becca’s family, her friends and all those who knew and loved her at this incredibly difficult time.”
