by Countryside Alliance

Representatives from the Countryside Alliance regularly feature in both print and broadcast media. It's been another bumper few weeks of coverage.

As well as national coverage, the Alliance work hard to ensure representation is fair and balanced in local news too.

Please note that not all coverage is available online. There are a large number of articles which are in print only (this is usually the case with industry press), as well as radio and TV appearances which cannot be retrieved.

A message from the Countryside Alliance Head of Press:

"Across the country newspapers are working hard to deliver us all vital news from Covid-19 updates, as well as important details that  we, the public, cannot miss. We need newspapers now and we'll need them once we beat this awful virus. We encourage our supporters to continue buying papers and industry magazines where and when they can. The same is especially said for local newspapers. Please check the website for your local newspaper or preferred magazine to look into delivery options. For national paper deliveries, please check out this website which links you digitally with your local newsagent. I'm sure they will really appreciate the custom at this time. Thank you."

Be sure not to miss the coverage below. We have broken the links down in themes and outlet for ease. Please click the name of the news outlet to read the story.

Fly-tipping
The Countryside Alliance has featured heavily in the national and local press in relation to our concerns over a rise in fly-tipping, following the Covid-19 lockdown. We have called on the public to keep their rubbish at home until such a time that it can be collected by their local authority. We have asked people to plan out any activity that may incur excess rubbish, in line with their local refuse collection schedule.
