Following the Prime Minister's recent national address on Sunday night (10th May) and the subsequent recovery strategy that was published the following day, we have updated various pieces of guidance across our COVID-19 Hub, to ensure that you have the most up to date information.
The Countryside Alliance recognises how important it is for those within the equestrian, shooting and fishing communities to maintain fitness levels as well as to spend time outside to enjoy the physical and mental health benefits it brings. However, we urge you to take the necessary precautions to keep you and those in your household safe during these unprecedented times, so please only partake in these activities where it is safe to do so.
We would like to remind members to adhere to social distancing measures at all times, keeping a distance of two metres between you and others. You should wash your hands both before and after using any equipment as well as before and after being in contact with any animals.
You can find the following updated advice on our COVID-19 Hub, which you can click through to below:
Feel free to pass this advice on to anyone who you think would benefit from it.
Please note - we will keep information in our COVID-19 Hub as up to date as possible, however, due to the fluid nature of the current situation, news and guidelines are subject to change. We will endeavour to update you with further guidance as and when it becomes available.
