Code of Good Shooting Practice website

Written by Countryside Alliance | 17 March 2015

Everyone who shoots will be aware of The Code of Good Shooting Practice, an accessible guide which is endorsed by leading sporting agents and game farmers, and organisations including the Countryside Alliance. The Code now has its own website, which you can access at www.codeofgoodshootingpractice.org.uk. Hard copies are available from the Countryside Alliance - email [email protected] for your copy. The Code provides advice at two levels: advice that must be followed in order to deliver sustainable shooting and advice that should be followed in order to achieve best practice, any deviation from which would need justification. The Code also features five Golden Rules surrounding safety, respect for quarry and management/ conservation.
