Written by Countryside Alliance | 4 May 2020

The Countryside Alliance has featured in an article by the Daily Telegraph on the importance of shooting to the rural economy.

The article, which can also be read online, was written in response to growing concern over the impact no shooting would have on rural communities.

It goes on to reference the latest paper written by the Countryside Alliance, which has been sent to government, titled: 'A return to shooting: a phased approach to shooting as lockdown restrictions are eased'.

Shooting plays a crucial role in the environmental, economic and social well-being of the countryside and this latest document from the Alliance explains how a phased return of shooting activities can secure the many benefits it brings.
