The Countryside Alliance has produced a manifesto for the forthcoming European elections. The manifesto, which has been sent to all UK candidates standing in the May elections, covers key areas of European responsibility affecting those in the UK countryside: wildlife management and EU Firearms Directive; digital communications; animal welfare standards for the transport and slaughter of animals and country of origin food labelling.
