How to get involved?

Going to a Boxing Day Hunt Meet may be an annual family ritual for some, however if you haven’t been to a Boxing Day meet before and want to know how to attend – either on foot or on horse – the best way is to contact the secretary of your local pack.

Find details on the mounted foxhound packs or Harriers and Beagle packs websites.

The hunt secretary will be able to advise you where the meet is, where you can park and how much it will cost. Although the rates vary between packs, there are often special rates available for newcomers or those under-25.

Many hunts have their own websites too, so it can be useful to refer to those for additional information regarding what to wear and general hunting etiquette.

Calling all hunt secretaries - Add your meet to our map

If you want to check the location of the nearest meet to where you will be on Boxing Day this year – whether it be for your regular local pack or one where you will be away visiting family and friends - then the first step is to find out where and when the meet is. You can do this by viewing our interactive map, which will be live very soon.

If your Boxing day meet is not on our interactive map, please let us know by emailing [email protected]. Please include your name, the name of the hunt, the location, time and any other information you feel will be of interest.

Our map will be live very soon, please check back for further details.
