To meet a growing need from schools and young people, Fishing for Schools has developed a new qualification, designed for delivery in schools, colleges and approved centres.
The qualification blends practical angling with conservation, personal development and employability skills. Pilot delivery is planned for early 2026, subject to centre approvals.
We have received considerable interest from schools and educational providers since announcing the qualification in October. To help answer any initial questions schools might have regarding the qualification, we will host our first online Q&A session during the Spring term.
