The Countryside Alliance is delighted to announce the Regional Champions for the 2026 Countryside Alliance Awards in England.

This year’s Awards have once again celebrated the very best of rural Britain. From village shops and community pubs to butchers, farmers and local businesses at the heart of the countryside economy. More than 50,000 members of the public took part in the voting process, casting their votes in support of the local businesses they know, trust and rely upon every day.

To all of our finalists, congratulations, reaching this stage alone marks you out as the best of the best. Your commitment to your customers, your communities and your local area is what makes these Awards so special and we are proud to recognise you as winners already.

We are now delighted to announce the Countryside Alliance Awards 2026 Regional Champions for England.

Each of these winners has been chosen by public vote, a reflection of the loyalty, affection and pride their communities feel for them.

On to the Grand Final

As Regional Champions, these businesses now move forward to the grand final of the Countryside Alliance Awards, where they will compete against fellow category winners from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland for the title of National Champion.

The overall winners will be selected by a national judging panel, chaired by Countryside Alliance Chief Executive Tim Bonner and will be crowned at a special reception at the House of Lords in July.

It is a fitting stage for an award that celebrates the very best of rural enterprise, community spirit and local pride across the United Kingdom.

We have already announced the Champions for Northern Ireland, and Scotland and Wales will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Countryside Alliance Awards are about more than business success, they are about people and a true celebration of rural Britain. They recognise those who go above and beyond to support local produce, traditional skills and the communities they serve.

Once again, thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Awards. Whether you entered, voted, or supported a local business, you have helped shine a light on the very best of the British countryside.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and good luck as you head to the final stage.
