Enter our exclusive new draw today for your chance to win a superb day’s shooting for eight guns on one of our oldest and historically rich sporting estates.
Belvoir Castle has been home to the Dukes of Rutland for almost 1000 years. The name Belvoir is from the Norman-French for ‘beautiful view’ and with its deep valleys, ancient woodland, historic parkland and lakes, it certainly lives up to its name.
Belvoir benefits from being one of the oldest and historically rich sporting estates in the UK, and its historic roots have helped the estate team create the finest drives in the most breathtaking surroundings, making it an unforgettable experience for those privileged to shoot there. With 17,000 acres, and over 75 drives to choose from, no two drives on the estate are the same, with each being a new experience.
We are incredibly grateful to the Duke and Duchess of Rutland for so generously donating this 200-bird day for a maximum of eight guns to the Countryside Alliance. Worth over £15,000, the day will take place on a date to be mutually agreed during the 2026 / 2027 season.
The fortunate winner will enjoy a truly outstanding sporting experience in the most stunning setting with first class hospitality provided. Elevenses will be taken at one of many idyllic spots on the estate, and lunch will be taken either in the Castle or the Shoot Lodge. To make it a truly unique experience, accommodation in the Castle can also be booked by separate arrangement, giving access to one of our most historic private homes. Alternatively, accommodation can also be booked by separate arrangement at the newly refurbished Croxton Park.
