about this blogRead moreAs the UKIP leadership contest continues, the Countryside Alliance has written to all contenders to establish their views on key rural priorities. A letter from our Chief Executive Tim Bonner to the candidates reads: At this important time for the countryside, following the vote to leave the European Union, rural communities are looking for clear leadership and direction. As part of the UKIP leadership campaign, we would like to invite you to set out your priorities for rural Britain.
Below are six key questions which I would be grateful if you could provide responses to. An identical set of questions has been sent to the other five candidates and any responses we receive will be made publicly available on our website in order that people voting in the leadership election have a better understanding of your priorities for rural Britain.
