Countryside Qualification
Fishing for Schools helps young people build confidence, re engage with education and develop skills through time spent outdoors. .
We are now developing the Angling and the Countryside qualification to turn that progress into something lasting. It will give pupils recognised, accredited skills while building knowledge of angling, conservation and the wider countryside.
This creates a clear pathway forward, helping young people move on with confidence, purpose and a stronger connection to the countryside.
Why the Angling and the Countryside Qualification is needed
Too many young people are being left behind by traditional education.
Fishing for Schools is already helping to change this by taking learning outside the classroom, rebuilding confidence and re engaging young people.
Now, we are taking this further. The Angling and the Countryside qualification will turn that progress into something lasting, providing recognised skills and a clear pathway into the future.
