We're building a national picture of rural crime
The Countryside Alliance’s interactive rural crime map aims to capture real experiences of rural crime incidents from communities across the UK. By sharing what you’ve seen or experienced, you’ll help us build stronger evidence to take to the government, the police, the media and key decision-makers.
This tool will help highlight the scale and patterns of rural crime - something traditional reporting often fails to capture.
Introducing our interactive map
The Countryside Alliance has launched a new interactive rural crime map, giving rural communities across the UK a new way to highlight the reality of crime in the countryside and help build a national evidence base for change.
This map is designed to capture incidents happening now and in the future, rather than historical crimes, so the data reflects the current picture of rural crime across the countryside. By collating verified reports from across the UK, the map will help identify crime hotspots, reveal emerging trends and demonstrate the true scale of rural crime, evidence that can be used to strengthen engagement with government, policing bodies, the media and other decision-makers. If you would like to submit an incident report, please fill in our form here.
Please note that this map is not a replacement for reporting crimes. Always phone 999 for urgent incidents.
