All set for a new hunting photography competition

The Countryside Alliance is happy to be involved in supporting and helping to judge a new hunting photography competition from This is Hunting UK and Hunting Associations from across the world. The competition will run from Christmas Eve 2016 until the 5th Jan 2017. The categories are as follows;

1 Best Group Photo of a Non-Hunting family and a Hunting Family together with both Hoses and Hounds.
2 Best Photo of a Hunting Family, mounted or on foot.
3 Best Action Shot of Horses and Hounds.
4 Best photo from Under 16s with a quote as to what really made the day special for them.

Photos should be sent by email with details of where and when they were taken to This is Hunting UK Assistant National Coordinator Lou Berry at [email protected].

Closing date for entries 5th January 2017 and winners will be announced on 12th January 2017.

Those living in the Southern Hemisphere are more than welcome to enter the competition by sending photos from the above categories. However they must have been taken at their Holiday Meets during the past season. Please be kind enough to supply the date the photo was taken and where.

Tim Bonner, Chief Executive of the Countryside Alliance and CA Head of Communications, Jill Grieve, will be helping to judge.

There will be three prizes for each category and these will go forward to being featured in This is Hunting UK's 2018 Calendar.
For more information please contact Lou Berry at [email protected] or James Barclay at [email protected]

(NB The Countryside Alliance's Hunt Tumblers' Club, in association with Pol Roger, is open to entries - find out more here.)
