about this blogRead moreThis year's Cheltenham Countryside Day silent auction is now live, with an array of exciting lots available for racing, hunting, shooting and countryside enthusiasts. Bidding is taking place online and will continue throughout the ever-popular Cheltenham Countryside Race Day which takes place on Friday, 11th November.
Keen equestrians might enjoy a yard tour for four people with Olympic Gold medallist Laura Collett MBE's eventing team, a season package for Badminton Horse Trials, four tickets for the London International Horse Show 2023 or a day's hunting for two people with the Heythrop, riding up front with Charles Frampton MFH.
Lot 15 might appeal to racing enthusiasts; a full experience at Newmarket which includes a private Newmarket Experience guided tour, a VIP restaurant experience AND a one-night stay at the Jockey Club Rooms. Racing fans can also bid on a course-facing box at Cheltenham's New Year's Day race and an annual membership for Cheltenham Racecourse for 2023.
Try your luck bidding for a Buffalo Foundation bike, a family photo shoot with multi-award-winning family portrait photographer, Titch Tetley, an hour-long polo training session for four people, two tickets for IL Divo's world tour and much, much more.
Director of The Countryside Alliance Foundation's Fishing for Schools Programme, Charles Jardine, also has an auction lot up for grabs. Place a bid for a guided days fly fishing for two rods on a prestigious English Chalkstream during the 2023 Season, with flies and tackle provided as well as lunch and champagne.
To get involved, simply visit the auction website and click on the lot you would like to bid on. We are incredibly grateful to all those who have donated special lots to the auction and look forward to seeing some of the action on the day itself. Bidding closes at 4pm on Friday, 4th November.
The proceeds of the auction go towards the Countryside Alliance and our campaigning work in Parliament, in the media and on the ground as well as to this year's charity partner, Cotswold Riding for the Disabled. Based at Cheltenham Racecourse, the charity provides therapy, fitness, skills development and opportunities for achievement through activities such as riding and carriage driving.
Don't forget, if you haven't purchased your tickets for the Cheltenham Countryside Race Day yet, you can do so on the Jockey Club website here.
