Get your Patrons' tickets for the Countryside Alliance Point-to-Point

Patrons’ tickets are now available for the ever-popular Countryside Alliance point-to-point at Badbury Rings in Dorset on Sunday 18 February.

Tickets are available to purchase online but for those who want to enjoy some exclusive benefits, now is your opportunity to purchase access to our Patrons’ Area. The Patrons’ package offers a thrilling raceday experience which includes entry and parking, plus all day access to the Patrons’ tent which is sited in a prime location. Patrons’ ticketholders can enjoy seating, a welcome aperitif, a buffet lunch, refreshments throughout the day and a complimentary race card.

Gates open at 10am with racing starting at 12noon so we recommend that all racegoers arrive early to get the best out of the day. This will allow plenty of time before the action on the racecourse starts to peruse the shopping stands, enjoy the entertainment, make the most of the selection of food stalls and licensed bar whilst perhaps even visiting the bookmakers for a flutter.

This race meeting is a great opportunity to enjoy fabulous racing at Badbury Rings which is a popular and highly-regarded point-to-point course. As well as a men’s and ladies’ race – both of which are usually hotly contested – the six-race card includes the Countryside Alliance Club Members contest where entered horses must be owned by an Alliance member. Another favourite feature of this annual event is the family dog racing, so well-behaved dogs are more than welcome to come along too.

Polly Portwin, Director of Hunting at the Countryside Alliance, explains how the success of the point-to-point is a team effort:

“We are incredibly grateful to all the volunteers – particularly those from the Portman Hunt – who are working hard to ensure this raceday is as successful as ever. Without the sponsors, patrons and all those who help in whatever capacity, the day would not be able to go ahead so we thank you all for your support and look forward to welcoming hundreds of supporters at the meeting on 18th February.”
