Liberal Democrat Conference

At the year's Liberal Democrat Conference we will be meeting senior parliamentarians to talk about our work at the Countryside Alliance and what matters to rural communities.

We will meet with Jane Dodds MP for Brecon and Radnorshire and leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats as well as Angela Smith MP for Penistone and Stocksbridge. Angela recently joined the Liberal Democrats and is a member of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee. When a Labour MP Angela served as the Shadow Minister for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs between 2014 and 2015.

We are also pleased to have scheduled a meeting with Baroness Bakewell of Hardington Mandeville MBE, Liberal Democrat Lords Spokesperson for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
