Beaufort Hunt raises £2050 for Breast Cancer Care UK

On Saturday 30th January the Beaufort Hunt held their annual charity meet and this year the charity to benefit was Breast Cancer Care UK.

In less than 30 minutes, £2050 filled the buckets with everyone digging deep to support this worthy cause.

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer and affects around 50,000 women and men each year. It is no respecter of class, creed or age, affecting the old and young alike.

Quite a few members of the Beaufort, have been affected recently, and also in the past, by a diagnosis of breast cancer and know only too well the fear that comes with that diagnosis and the resulting need for accurate information, literature and support - Breast Cancer Care UK offers that support online and has proved to be an invaluable tool.

The meet was as usual most generously hosted by the Milsom Family at Hundred Acre Farm, Sopworth who over the years have raised many thousands for charity.
