The end of the school year has been a busy time for Fishing 4 Schools coach, John Blewitt. Based in Yorkshire, John and the team have delivered the programme to schools in Holmfirth, Sheffield, Rotherham and Wakefield. Recent schools include Forge Valley Community School in Sheffield (pupils pictured). Forge Valley is a typical inner city school but is set in beautiful countryside and close to the Peak District. The fishing is always the highlight of the workshops and this course proved no exception to the rule. In June Fishing 4 Schools visited Notre Dame School in Sheffield. The course was highly successful, with a quote from one student summarising the programme: "these were the best alternative curriculum days we have had."
