about this blogRead moreThe Countryside Alliance is proud to announce the English regional champions for the 2025 Countryside Alliance Awards, celebrating the best of rural life and enterprise across the nation.
Dubbed the “Rural Oscars”, these awards honour the people and businesses going above and beyond in their communities, from local food heroes and village shops to inspiring rural enterprises. With thousands of public nominations received, this year’s regional champions represent the dedication, creativity, and resilience that define our countryside.
Each of these regional winners will now go forward to the UK finals, where they will compete for the national title in their category. The national champions will be crowned at a special House of Lords reception in June 2025, celebrating the unsung heroes who help rural communities to thrive.
Sarah Lee, Director of Policy at the Countryside Alliance, said:
"These champions represent the very best of our countryside – innovative businesses, passionate people and vital services that keep our rural areas alive. They are a testament to the power of community and hard work."
Congratulations to all the champions, and thank you to everyone who nominated their local favourites. Together, we celebrate the beating heart of the countryside.
