Meet the team

Peter Rymer
I am a farmer from Oxfordshire, and I decided to run to try to raise money for the Alliance to help them to protect rural communities and all the country activities that I have been lucky to enjoy all my life.
I am not a natural runner, the furthest I have ever run is home from the local pub but I thought in my 60th year I could do with a challenge.

Oliver Cornock
Ollie is a Joint-Master of the Bicester Hunt with Whaddon Chase and can often be seen clearing his hunt country running alongside his dog but knows he will have to up the miles a bit for this challenge.
“The misunderstandings and misconceptions about country sports is something I care passionately about tackling. Being able to raise money for TCAF in this way will hopefully enable future generations to be able to access enjoy what we are so lucky to know”.

Ifigenia Arampelou
As a cancer survivor, I credit much of my healing journey to the countryside, finding strength and solace in nature’s calming presence during treatment.
This year, I’m taking on the challenge of running my first London Marathon to raise funds for the Countryside Alliance. I am passionate about protecting our rural landscapes to ensure future generations can enjoy the beauty and quality of life the countryside provides.

Jackie Howard-Jones
Having retired from the Mastership of the Kimblewick last year, Jackie needed something energetic to focus on and decided that the London Marathon might be a great challenge for 2025.
With three energetic sons now in their 20s, Jackie understands the benefits of getting children out into the countryside and feels proud to be supporting this amazing charity.

Charlotte Perfect
Having grown up on a farm and spending many happy childhood days immersing herself in rural life, the countryside has always been an important part of Charlotte’s identity.
Charlotte says: “Running the London Marathon has always been a #1 bucket list item for me, and I feel so honoured to be running for a charity that is so connected to my roots.”

Daisy Frampton
"I’ve always been a keen runner, playing lots of sports at school so naturally I’ve always wanted to run the London marathon, however, it's my competitive nature that has led to this decision. The result of me running the London marathon was a ring side chat at Ardingly, and I was in.
I’m so excited to run the marathon for The Countryside Alliance Foundation and help fundraise for the Fishing for Schools project, and make everyone in the countryside alliance community proud."

Emily Harbour
Inspired to take up running after her mother died of a brain tumour in 2019, Emily is hoping to fulfil a long-held ambition to complete the London Marathon.
Oxfordshire-based Emily, a farrier’s daughter who has hunted regularly, been a winning point-to-point jockey and also enjoys shooting, said: “I am delighted to be running the London Marathon and raising important funds for a charity which represents my love of the countryside.”
