Our Casting for Recovery team create pink flies to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2017 and raise

To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2017, our team at Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland have created some beautiful pink flies to raise vital donations for the project.

Casting for Recovery (CfR) has been in operation in the UK and Ireland for 10 years, and is a charitable project run by The Countryside Alliance Foundation. The charity originated in the United States 20 years ago with a founding mission that is true the world over: to provide free-of-charge residential retreats for ladies who have, or have had, breast cancer.

It costs £600 to put one lady through our Casting for Recovery programme, which marries support, counselling and fly fishing for ladies with breast cancer. By donating, you will receive one of our limited edition pink fly products, and will be giving ladies whose lives have been profoundly affected by breast cancer, the opportunity to learn the sport of fly fishing, make friends and most importantly have fun.

Casting for Recovery visits some truly beautiful venues across the UK and Ireland and has inspired the generous and loyal support of donors large and small – every penny counts. It is our mission to provide women with powerful tools for healing and to help and support them in moving forward.

Casting for Recovery UK and Ireland Director Jill Grieve commented: "The whole team would like to thank everyone who purchases one of our pink flies, all the donations raised will go towards helping people through the darker moments of their lives and will make a huge difference."
