Time is running out to be part of the team at Warter Priory

Warter Priory’s two-day clay shoot in support of the Countryside Alliance is taking place on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 May. With just over three weeks to go, time is running out to enter a team, and with only a few places left please enter now if you have yet to do so. You will then be doing your bit to help generate what we hope will be significant funds for the Countryside Alliance; funds that with the lead up to the forthcoming General Election will be of considerable importance to us.

Teams of eight (four guns and four loaders) will shoot a total of six stands, one of which will be a pool shoot, each day. The price per team is £1,400, and this includes breakfast buns with tea or coffee on arrival, snacks and refreshments throughout the day, and a champagne drinks reception followed by lunch with an auction of some truly unique lots, many of which would not be available on the open market. All 12 and 20 bore shotgun cartridges will be provided.

On Saturday 18 May there is the renowned Bushbeaters’ Ball. Tickets for this great event are £85 each and this includes a drinks reception, delicious dinner, and a live band and disco with The Ordinary Men. From 9.30am to 4pm that day, Warter Priory is also holding a High Tower Challenge, with 30 birds set over three High Bird Towers. This is open to everyone, and for £50 per entry, and an unlimited number of re-entries, there is the chance to win one peg on a double gun day at Warter Priory this coming season. Refreshments will be available during the day from the famous Warter Priory Gun Bus.

The Countryside Alliance is incredibly grateful both to Warter Priory for holding this three-day event to raise funds for the Alliance, and to all those that have so generously donated some truly amazing auction lots and prizes.
