Voting update for the upcoming National Trust AGM

We are encouraging all members of the National Trust – whether members of the Countryside Alliance or not – to vote against the members' resolution to ban trail-hunting on National Trust land before the closing date at 23:59 on 13th October.

The Trust's board has recommended to their members that they vote AGAINST this resolution too. Please note that a vote against the resolution means that you are voting to protect the future of trail-hunting on their land.

All National Trust members should now have received their voting papers, however if they have not yet been delivered, you can still vote online.

With regards to the forthcoming National Trust council elections we are suggesting that you may wish to wait until after the 4th October to make a decision. After this date we are likely to have a better understanding of the candidates' position on certain countryside issues following their answers to further questions that have been put to them for response.
