Fishing for Schools Art Competition!

One of the real highlights of the summer for Charles and our Kent team has been the annual art competition, a much-loved project that Fishing for Schools coach Warren White has championed for many years. This year was no exception.

A big thank you goes to the clients of Choice Support in Footscray and Dartford, and to all who contributed at the Trevor Gibbens Unit, whose wonderful entries were both a joy to look through — and a real challenge for Charles to judge!

Commenting on this Year’s Art Competition. Fishing for Schools Director said :

“ I would deary love to see this amazing outpouring of creativity – one that seems to grow and become ever more varied - become a national event. What fun that would be. Perhaps have a major exhibition at the end of it. A dream, to be realised. “

After much deliberation, a decision has been made, and we are delighted to announce this year’s winners:

1st prize picture of the ray by Joshua G, Choice Support Footscray
2nd prize picture of fish by Craig, Choice Support Footscray
